Description

To begin the planning process, the scanner must provide:

STL file of the arch with the scanbody correctly positioned

Scan of the opposing arch

Well-defined bite registration

Fully exposed scanbody, without soft tissue interference

Identification of the implant system and scanbody model used

Information about the desired material (zirconia, e.max, etc.)

Selected shade

Relevant clinical observations (prosthetic space, type of retention — cement-retained or screw-retained, transmucosal height, etc.)
