Description

A three-unit posterior bridge was designed in Exocad to restore function and occlusion. Upper and lower scans were aligned using the bite scan to ensure accurate articulation. Margins were precisely defined on the abutments, and suitable tooth shapes were selected from the anatomic library to match natural morphology.

Connector dimensions were optimized for strength and smooth stress distribution. The pontic was designed with a hygienic modified ridge-lap form. Using Freeform and Sculpt tools, occlusal contacts and anatomy were refined for proper centric and eccentric function.

Final checks included thickness mapping, undercut analysis, and path of insertion validation, ensuring both mechanical durability and natural esthetics. The design was exported as an STL file for CAM processing and milling.
