Description
Digital orthodontic planning with Titan and 3Shape. We have over eight years of focused experience in orthodontics. We turn patient scans and clinical data into a clear, step-by-step aligner plan.
We begin by collecting the patient’s 3D scans and treatment prescription. Using Titan and 3Shape software, we simulate tooth movements in three dimensions. Each movement is checked against biomechanical criteria. Once the sequence is defined, we prepare STL files ready for 3D printing.
Alongside the STL outputs, we create guides for interproximal reduction (IPR) with exact locations and depths. We also plan attachments and any auxiliaries needed. Before finalizing, we review the entire setup with the treating clinician. This review allows precise adjustments for each case.
Deliverables include:
A complete series of STL files for aligner fabrication.
Detailed IPR instructions (locations, depths).
Attachment and auxiliary placement plan.
Visualizations and reports suitable for showing the plan to the patient.
Notes on biomechanical considerations and potential risks to monitor.
This workflow lightens the technical workload in the clinic. It accelerates access to ready-to-print files. Each plan adapts to predictability criteria and force management principles. Clinicians receive a comprehensive package that streamlines aligner production and supports clear patient communication.
