Description
CAD design of implant-supported bars based on provided final prosthetic STL files.
This service is intended for dental laboratories that already have a completed full-arch or splinted prosthetic design and require an accurate implant bar extracted and prepared for production.
The implant bar is created based strictly on the provided STL data and reference scans, without modifying implant positions or prosthetic design intent.
Bar design can be performed regardless of screw channel angulation, based on the provided reference STL.
The implant bar can be designed with a defined shoulder, a reduced shoulder, or as a fully shoulderless design.
Wall angulation and transition geometry are adapted according to the provided reference and laboratory instructions.
Workflow overview
• You provide a final solid prosthetic STL, and the cement gap and minimum thickness of bar and suprastructure values
• Based on this data, the implant bar is extracted and designed using Blender for Dental
• The suprastructure is finalized using Exocad
• Final geometry is prepared for milling or printing
What this service includes
• Implant bar CAD design and suprastructure adapt derived from final prosthetic STL
• Controlled minimal thickness according to reference data
• Clean and consistent bar geometry
• STL files prepared and checked for production
Deliverables
• STL file of the implant bar
• Screenshot and HTML previews for verification before final delivery
What I need from you
• Final prosthetic / bridge STL (solid design) or dental project (preferable)
• Gingiva scan
• Screw channels STL
• Minimal thickness STL (if applicable)
• Multi-unit seating STL (if applicable)
